Tom Brouse
Strategic Advisor to the CEO
Tom Brouse has been a leader with Plaza Companies since its inception. He has been instrumental in the firm's tremendous growth and establishment of Plaza Companies' reputation for excellence in healthcare facilities, seniors housing and bioscence real estate. Mr. Brouse oversees a number of debt and equity funding relationships, provides strategic and organizational direction for the firm and focuses on the senior living portfolio.
Prior to joining the Plaza Companies in 1984, Mr. Brouse spent 12 years in public accounting, the last three as a partner with a large southwest regional public accounting firm. He earned a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Arizona State University and a Masters Degree in Accounting with an emphasis in taxation, also from Arizona State University.
Mr. Brouse has been involved with several professional organizations including, the American Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants, where he has chaired the IRS Liaison and the Technical Tax Presentation Committees. Mr. Brouse' civic and social involvement includes the Deer Valley and Northwest Valley YMCA's (past board president), Peoria Arrowhead Lions Club (past president), Deer Valley Optimist Club and the Arizona State Lions Foundation. Mr. Brouse also served on the educational staff of Glendale Community College as a lecturer on tax accounting.
