Tom Steimel joined The Plaza Companies team in 1996 and works closely with the Director of Construction and Ownership on the bioscience, medical office and senior living portfolio. His significant background and reputation in construction and construction management cover a wide range of projects with emphasis on sophisticated institutional projects including the four story Virginia G. Piper Cancer Center, which is connected to a three story cancer research building by the pedestrian bridge by Scottsdale Healthcare. He also worked on the Greenbaum Surgery Center, the Women's Center at Scottsdale, Shea Campus, featuring a state-of-the-art delivery and recovery room.

Mr. Steimel serves as a guest lecturer in Scheduling, Labor Law and Development Feasibility at Arizona State University, College of Engineering. Mr. Steimel received his Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering from Arizona State University in 1971, and his professional associations include the following: Project Management Institute, Construction Specifications Institute and National Society of Professional Engineers.
